And to all a good night!
Christmas started very early for us - and with the wild winds and rain/snow it seemed we hardly slept last night. For the first time since being parents "we" were up before the girls! The winds just kept screeching and loud booms would happen and we would jump up wondering what it was - so we decided, let's just get up and relax by the fire with a good cup of coffee and wait for the girls!
After one good cup of java, out came the girls, smiling with excitement and anticipation. It was fun watching their faces as they peeled open gifts that really made them happy. This is a perfect age because a good wrap around bath towel with a turbin towel for the hair makes them very happy. Of course, so did the W*i.....
...so as our bedtime approaches, we have Steve sleeping in the recliner with Asia on his lap sound asleep. The girls are finishing up a game of U*pw*rds.....and I am making sure all beds have flashlights next to them in anticipation of the wind knocking out the power once again tonight.

Only one day 'til Christmas! It's Christmas Eve and both of the girls are still sleeping. But, it's not quite 7am. Sophie seems to be getting sick - yesterday she awoke with a sore throat, headache and a fever. Hopefully this morning she has more of her spunk back. Sadie put the Santa tracker on the computer so I am sure she will be scoping it out when she does get up.
We are expecting another big storm up here in the mountains. Well, the mountains will get the snow and the flatland will get the rain! It sounds like it should be a VERY white Christmas. The only bad part to that is that Steve has to drive in it on Friday to get to work in the wee hours of the night/early morning.
